Kristina Pisano

Director of Strategic Philanthropy

Kristina Pisano serves as the Director of Strategic Philanthropy for the Spartanburg Academic Movement. Kristina is responsible for managing and supporting overall fund development and stewardship. During her career, Kristina has worked in several roles within higher education philanthropy at Converse University and most recently at Stetson University.

Kristina earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UNC Greensboro in Parks and Recreation Management. She also received a Master’s in Professional Leadership and Management from Converse University while also completing a Rising Higher Education Leadership Fellowship with the Education Advisory Board. Kristina also serves as a board member of the St. Paul United Methodist Children’s Learning Center in Spartanburg.

Originally from Pennsylvania, but calls Greensboro, NC home, Kristina and her husband, Dr. Andrew Pisano, love all things baseball in Spartanburg with their son Alex and their sweet pup, Minnie.
