Bailey Babb
AmeriCorps VISTA
Bailey graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in English, and minor in Education Studies, from Winthrop University in 2021. She obtained real world experience working with adolescents in the classroom, but it was through her role as a Resident Assistant that she discovered a broader world of educational leadership. Her time at Winthrop culminated in a desire to help students of all ages grow academically and personally.
As the Community Engagement VISTA, Bailey will work closely with the Out-of-School-Time Collaborative, Youth Philanthropy Board, and other partnership efforts. This is her second year of service with AmeriCorps, having completed her first in 2022 as the Marketing and Media Specialist for Greer Relief & Resources Agency. AmeriCorps allows her to serve the community she has called home her entire life, and she is excited to combine her passions through this role.
